Play Group - Kindergarten

Overview

The Early Years program at ICT Cambridge School lays the foundation for lifelong learning. Covering Play Group, and Kindergarten, this stage focuses on developing early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional growth through a blend of structured lessons and play-based activities. Our curriculum builds phonics awareness, number sense, Islamic values, and creative expression, preparing children for a confident transition into Primary School.

From alphabet recognition and phonics in Play Group to CVC words, blends, and simple sentence writing by Kindergarten, building strong reading and writing foundations.

Mathematics

Covers counting, number recognition, shapes, and patterns, progressing to place value, addition/subtraction with carry-over, and basic fractions by KG.

Urdu

Develops recognition and writing of Urdu huroof-e-tahaji, sounds, and simple word formation appropriate to each age group.

General Knowledge

Introduces body parts, senses, hygiene, seasons, animals, and the world around them through fun, relatable topics.

Islamic Studies

Builds early understanding of Kalimas, daily duas, five pillars of Islam, and good manners through age-appropriate storytelling.

Arts & Creativity
