School Policies

Transparency & Trust.

Our policies are designed to create a safe, fair, and excellent learning environment for every student and family.

Admissions Policy

  • Admissions are open to students of all backgrounds based on academic merit and entrance evaluations.
  • Mandatory diagnostic assessment is required for accurate IGCSE, O Level, and A Level stream placement.
  • Official admission decisions are finalized and communicated within 5 working days of the assessment.
  • The school management reserves the right to place students at the most appropriate Cambridge grade levels.

Attendance Policy

  • Students must maintain at least 80% attendance and active participation per scheduled lesson, tracked automatically through our LMS.
  • Students must join every class before the scheduled start time, fully prepared with materials and a stable internet connection.
  • Parents or guardians must notify the school promptly for any absence; documentation may be requested for extended absences.
  • Persistent absenteeism or lateness may result in formal warnings, parent meetings, or an attendance improvement plan.

Code of Conduct

  • Students must treat teachers, classmates, and staff with courtesy and respect — bullying, harassment, and discrimination are not tolerated.
  • Online classes must be attended from a quiet, distraction-free space, in neat and school-appropriate attire at all times.
  • Cameras must stay on when required and microphones muted when not speaking; recording or sharing class sessions without permission is prohibited.
  • Students are responsible for their own device and account security, and must use school-approved platforms only for educational purposes.

Fee Policy

  • School fees must be cleared by the 10th of each calendar month; standard late fee fines apply thereafter.
  • A formal three months' advance written notice is mandatory for any student withdrawal or clearance.
  • Merit-based and high-achiever scholarships are actively available for outstanding O/A Level candidates.
  • Detailed fee structures and schedules are provided transparently at the initial time of enrolment.

Assessment & Academic Honesty

  • Assignments, classwork, projects, and examinations must always reflect each student's own original work and genuine understanding.
  • Copying another's work, receiving unauthorized assistance, or presenting someone else's work as one's own is a serious integrity violation.
  • AI tools and online resources may only be used as permitted by the teacher; submitting AI-generated work as one's own is not allowed.
  • Parents may support and guide their child's learning but must not complete assignments, provide answers, or alter submitted work.

Safeguarding & Privacy

  • All school faculty and staff undergo comprehensive background verification checks and safeguarding training.
  • Student academic, medical, and personal data is safely stored and never disclosed to unauthorised third parties.
  • Continuous CCTV surveillance is operational across all school premises for security and student safety.
  • Parents or registered guardians remain the primary contact points for all urgent safeguarding updates.

Parent-School Communication

  • The school is committed to respectful, timely, and student-centred communication built on mutual trust with families.
  • Parents are encouraged to engage through official channels — Parent-Teacher Meetings, progress reports, and scheduled consultations.
  • Concerns or questions are addressed fairly through established procedures, with appropriate time given for review and resolution.
  • All personal and student information shared during communication is handled responsibly in line with privacy standards.

Online Class Etiquette

  • Students are expected to listen attentively, participate constructively, and use the chat only for lesson-related questions.
  • Microphones should remain muted when not speaking, and anything visible on camera must suit an educational setting.
  • Disruptive behaviour, side conversations, or off-topic activity during live sessions may result in restricted participation.
  • Teachers manage the online classroom environment, and students are expected to follow their reasonable instructions.
